OFF SIDE REAR WHEEL SWEEK

hi,i have a range rover sport,but when i 1st drive off every thing seems ok,until the 5 miles or so down road,i get a sweeking sound from the off side rear wheel,when i slightly turn to the right,or turn right...had the wheel off,and the pads are fine,plenty off whare left in them..any suggestions please ?? ???

Did you check the wheel bearing?
If it needs adjustment/replacement, it would rub on the pads when turning.
Would also cause a 'long' pedal when braking.

thanks for your reply,yes checked the bearing,think the pad/caliper has moved to the inside of the hub as it is bright...thing that gets me is its only a 2007 reg !! >:(

hand brake shoes or the hand brake actuator fault.
software upgarde for the hand brake ecu and reset the shoes very coman

many thanks for all of your replys,,had the sport on ramps,took boths rear wheels off,put new pads and clean the discs,cleaned the handbrake shoes up...and put back together job done...no more sweeking Thnk god,lol....
